Whisper ran back and forth through her Resortfolk's room. She jumped up on top of her Resortfolk's chair and stared at The Outside. She looked at the Dock and the Humans unloading the crates of items and onto their land. Selfish Humans Whisper thought. Then she looked at the Beyond the Resort. The place she isn't aloud to go to. The cats here were told a story of the Beyond, that a long time ago, no animal lived here. Not even humans. Then a bunch of cats arrived in the island, already in groups. The cats decided they must get rid of their old groups, and form new ones to adapt to their new island. Life was peaceful, then the Humans came. The cats knew how to deal with the Humans, because back where they lived, which was by a lake, which is a smaller body of water than the ocean, the Humans lived there too. Humans loved this place- especially the beach. So the Humans built a Resort like now, but it got trashed and they built a new one, the one Whisper lives in now. They call the old resort the Abandoned. And even the cats of the Resort have blood of the wild cats. But Whisper thinks that the idea of that is crazy. Whisper looked at the Abandoned now. Stranger than the Strange cats were looking around it, as if inspecting it. "Strange." Whisper said.
